Iran Oscar flick star to jury in Tokyo

Iranian actress Taraneh Alidousti starring in Oscar-winning ‘The Salesman’ is set to serve as jury member of fest in Japan.

The actress who grabbed international acclaim for her acting in Farhadi’s title as the Best Foreign Language Film at Oscars 2017 will serve as a juror at 31st Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF).

The star of Asghar Farhadi’s Oscar-winning movie ‘The Salesman’ will also hold a masterclass during the event.

The fest’s screenings will take place in the Japanese capital city of Tokyo October 25-November 3 at cinemas, theaters, halls and facilities.

The Iranian actress will serve as International Competition Jury member at the event.
